StepStone Hosts “Wrapped in Love” Blanket Drive to Help Foster Children in Need Nationwide

With cold temperatures arriving and winter in full swing, StepStone Family and Youth Services announced its third annual “Wrapped in Love” winter blanket drive to benefit foster youth in need nationwide. StepStone has partnered with local businesses in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia to collect donations of new and gently used blankets from January 23, 2023, through February 17, 2023.

“StepStone Family and Youth Services is proud to have the opportunity to serve some of our community’s most vulnerable children and teens as they navigate the foster care system,” said Chad Hall, Vice President of Foster Care Services, StepStone Family and Youth Services. “We’re grateful for the support of so many valued community members and partners who help us provide nurturing and caring homes to the youth we serve, and we thank them for their generosity and contributions to this winter’s Wrapped in Love blanket drive. Their donations will give so many children a piece of comfort and belonging.”

StepStone Family and Youth Services helps connect children in need with foster families who can provide comforting, nurturing homes. The organization has been providing foster care services, counseling, respite care, training for foster parents and youth residential services to communities across the country for 25 years. StepStone is always looking for new foster families to help children who need safe, caring living environments in the communities they serve.
