StepStone Family & Youth Services (formerly A Place to Call Home) helps find loving and nurturing homes for children in foster care and children and adults with disabilities throughout Arizona. We believe everyone deserves a loving family home that helps them feel safe.
We license families and individuals to care for children that have been removed from their homes due to a number of different reasons, including abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We also license families and individuals to care for children and adults with disabilities. StepStone Family & Youth Services is a culturally aware agency and licenses families to care for children from Tribal Communities.

StepStone Family & Youth Services se fundó en 1998 con una cosa en mente: hacer una diferencia en la vida de niños y adultos con necesidades especiales y discapacidades. Licensing Agency
As a licensing agency, our responsibility is to assist you with the licensing process. Your family will have a family specialist assigned to you to assist with both licensing and ongoing needs. The family specialist will work with you to build a profile based on your skills and family dynamics.
Our placement team works to match a child in need of a home with your profile. We will be an advocate for you and your placement to ensure needs are met. We will assist in finding services and resources to assist your family and placement.
StepStone Family & Youth Services has a behavior specialist to assist your family in learning new and creative ways to manage behaviors. We have nurses to train families in any medical care situation (i.e. feeding tubes, breathing treatments) that may be required for placement.
