At StepStone, we believe that children and youth need a safe place they can call home – and our compassionate team of professionals are essential in making that connection. We are currently expanding our team and hiring full-time foster care case managers in Florence, KY. This position is hybrid with work from home, office, and field work requirements.
Overview of the Position
Our case managers are responsible for the delivery of therapeutic case management services including both individual and family guidance, psychoeducational training, and service coordination for youth within the placement of a licensed foster home. Case managers work to bring positive outcomes for children/youth and their foster families, and are passionate about providing solutions and problem solving. One of their primary responsibilities includes developing service plans for children/youth and their families – being in regular contact to monitor the progress and safety of the child/youth throughout their placement.
Overview of Position Requirements
**The following list does not include all of the job requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or another Mental Health related field – Master’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of related work experience required – experience within the social/human services field preferred
- Ability to operate standard computer and communications equipment – working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, EHR, and other software related to role
- Knowledge of standard state rules & regulations regarding child-placing agents
- Reliable transportation with up-to-date vehicle registration and insurance, and a valid driver’s license
- Capable of working with children, parents, foster parents, social service agencies, and the court
