Non-Therapeutic Foster Care

Non-Therapeutic foster care is traditional foster care that provides the caring, the safety and the security that kids need, no matter what their needs may be. We specialize in matching the children we serve with dedicated and caring home providers. Children in non-therapeutic foster care are typically developing kids in need of a safer, more stable living environment. Working with StepStone ensures that their needs will be met and maintained.

Therapeutic Foster Care

Foster parents are an important part of the treatment team and work in concert with a child’s therapist, case manager and social worker to ensure each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Youth Mentoring

We work with at-risk youth and adolescents in their homes and in their communities to provide role modeling, therapeutic recreation, behavior management and modification, independent living skills training, tutoring, community integration and many other services. The young adults in our program are experiencing issues including academic difficulties, self-esteem issues, impulsive behaviors, physical isolation, verbal or physical aggression and substance abuse. They need to learn social and independent living skills and may be involved with a negative peer group. These young adults truly benefit from working with a mentor.
