Pease Family Opens Their Hearts and Homes to Siblings

The Pease family turned to StepStone to help complete the adoption process for four siblings who entered foster care in 2016. The siblings had been placed in foster care after being removed from their home where they witnessed substantial domestic violence and substance abuse.

In September 2020, the Pease family adopted two of the children and because the other two siblings had different fathers, their adoption process took longer to complete. StepStone supported the Pease family and the children until the adoption of all four children was complete in January 2021. The family is grateful for StepStone’s guidance throughout the process and thrilled that they are now officially a family.
